What an honour to perform for Joanne and Scott today at their wedding and celebration of love. Paxton Wines in Mclaren Vale is a beautiful venue. I feel very fortunate and humbled that I get to add to special moments like this. As the bride walked down the isle, I played a song they requested which I learned the months prior to the event. Thank you for having me.

The first was at one of our monthly Soul Food programs and second at our recent fund-raiser for the Biggest Afternoon Tea for the Cancer Council. Both of these functions were held at the Blackwood Community Centre. Everyone loved his first performance so much that we invited him to perform at the larger function at which there were about 60 persons present. We received very positive feedback. He was reliable, has a friendly and warm manner, he sang beautifully accompanied by his guitar-playing and he chose songs to fit the occasions. "We first came across Robert Rowland at a Friday night wine tasting event at Cos 18 in the Adelaide CBD, we were sitting in the courtyard and Robert was employed to come and play some music to support the event. We were really impressed by the style of music he was playing and it added to a great atmosphere. We got talking to him that night and were similarly impressed with him as an individual, and we spoke to him about playing at our joint 60th birthday party that was to be held at Cos 18 in July. We did some background research and became convinced that he was the perfect fit for our party, so we engaged Robert to play for about the first two hours at our party. The cost he charged was quite affordable, he was reliable, set up on time, and started playing as planned. We had him play for about the first two hours of the party for some mood music as guests arrived and also as general background music.
